Morning bowl
A wide, shallow bowl, designed for milky coffee, cereal or a piece of fruit on the table.

The morning bowl is thrown in a single movement, with a thin rim that lifts easily to the lips and a foot wide enough to stay steady on the table. It sits in your hands without tipping.
Its pale glaze gathers in the hollow and darkens slightly where the wall thickens: bowls from the same series therefore never look quite alike. It is the bowl I use myself every day, for milky coffee and for cereal.
